In the unfortunate event that you are involved in an incident or accident, please contact your dedicated Account Advisor or our Claims Advisor immediately. At Gallagher, we will ensure that you receive all the help, reassurance, and assistance that you need, at every stage of your claim. 

To notify Gallagher of the incident you can contact our claims department in the following ways:

In certain cases, a claim form is required. If this is the case, we will forward one to you as soon we are notified of the incident.

What to do in the event of a Motor Accident?

• Call the Gardai
• Take note of the date and time of the incident
• Note who or what was involved
• If there are witnesses, obtain and record their names and addresses
• Take photo of the damage and the scene of the accident
• Request the insurance details from the other driver involved if possible such as registration number, name and address

What to do in the event of a Home Insurance incident?

• Ensure everyones safety in the event of a fire
• Take photos of the incident
• If necessary move items to prevent any further damage (water)
• Store any damaged items for the assessor to view at a later date
