Nobody like talking about it and we certainly never want to experience it; but the
simple fact is that women have a 1 in 10 chance of developing breast
cancer in the course of their life time.
What can we do about it?
Early detection is really important. That’s why we want to help create awareness.
We are supporting getthegirls.ie which is a fun campaign run by the Irish Cancer
Society. It aims to encourage you to get all the girls around to raise money for
an extremely worthy cause.
We invite you to join us in our offices on Friday 25th October to help us
raise money for breast cancer research in Ireland. We will have lots of
yummy cupcakes for you to enjoy and our team will be dressing in pink!
If you can’t join us on the day, you can donate money right now.
This year, the Irish Cancer Society launch a new collaborative cancer research
centre on breast cancer, called Breast Predict which will see an investment of
€7.5 million over 5 years from the Society into breast cancer research – This is
where some of your donation will go.
