Digital Insurance Secretary – 12 month fixed-term, maternity cover

Keaney Insurance Brokers have recently been acquired by Gallagher Ireland, part of the Arthur J Gallagher Group, one of the largest insurance brokerages in the world. We are now seeking to recruit a Digital Insurance Secretary to work on-site in our Dublin based office on a full-time basis. This is a 12 month, fixed-term, maternity cover contract.

Your Role
- Providing secretarial support to the company Directors in a busy insurance brokerage
- High volume digital dictation (Olympus) typing, using our in-house software package
- Document production to consist of; creating, editing and formatting of documents and spreadsheets, in addition to the creation of PowerPoint presentations
- File management in line with company procedures, ensuring that all documents are filed electronically and in line with best practice and compliance procedures
- Responsibility for diary management, ensuring any outstanding queries relating to work flow, renewals and follow-ups are actioned in a timely manner
- Responsibility for following up with insurers and suppliers via telephone in a timely manner
- Any other ad-hoc, relevant general administration duties as per the needs of the business
Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within an Insurance/Medical/Legal environment
- Previous experience within a role that involves high-volume typing (essential)
- Strong and accurate digital dictation typing speeds of at least 65 WPM
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders of all levels
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines
- Eligible to work in Ireland
