What is Movember?
During the month of November it is moustache mania as men raise vital funds
and raise awareness for prostate, testicular cancer and mental health.
Movember challenges men to grow moustaches for the full 30 days of November.
It becomes a conversation starter which raises awareness about men’s health.
1 in 8 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and over 500 men will die from
prostate cancer in Ireland this year. Without Movember there would be no specialist nurses, information booklets about this disease or social media awareness. This Movember video is really informative.
